In the late 1960s and 1970s Forest J. Ackerman and his wife Wendayne began translating the German Perry Rodan stories into english. Up until book number 118, Ace Publishing produced the books. The last five of the Ace books were produced with two stories in each book.
The last Perry Rodan book published by Ace was called a novel and did not carry a series number for the book.
Ace also produced a short run of Perry Rodan spin-off books called "Atlan". This collection includes the five Atlan books (the last book was a double - #4 and #5).
After 118, the publishing was picked up by Master publications until number 137 when publication was discontinued. The Master Publication books were printed in magazine format to reduce publication costs. The exception was the last one, #137 which also included five stories of another Perry Rodan spin-off called "Star Man".
Also included in this collection are two original German magazine format Perry Rodan stories series #474 and #475.
There are also ten Perry Rodan "Rhocomzine" fan newsletters provided in this collection.
If you are a Perry Rodan fan, or just interested in finding out what it was about, this
is a very nice colleciton to have.
All of the books are in good condition. Most look like they have never even been read
(no creases in the spins).
