14A7 / 14H7 / 14C7 to 12SK7 Adapter
This is an adapter to allow using a 14A7, 14C7 or 14H7 in place of a 12SK7 tube.
It should also work to adapt a 7A7, 7C7 or 7H7 in place of a 6SK7 tube.
During WWII tube production was diverted for military use.
Because of this, tubes for civilian radio repair became increasing difficult to find.
The result was that many radio repairmen created adapters to allow the use of other tubes that
had the same or similar characteristics in place of the original tube.
Some even started a small business making the adapters for other repairmen.
Interestingly this adapter is mislabled. It shows the 16H7 can be used in place of the 12SK7.
This is incorrect since the 16H7 doesn't exist, the correct tube number is a 14H7 (or 7H7 for 6 Volts).
