Being offered are three antique crystal units made by Marconi of Canada.
The manufacture date is June 1955. Made of black bakalite.
The units are hermetically sealed in foil wrapping and a
desiccant pack inside the foil wrap. The package was then
placed in a cardboard box sealed with a paper tape.

The offered units have not been opened but are presumed to all
be in perfect working order. (A sample was opened and dismantled
for the pictures.)

The crystals are ground to 5740KC, 5270KC, and 3720KC.
As shown in the pictures, the holder can be dismantled to remove
the crystal to either regrind it to another frequency, or
replace it with a different crystal.
Top is held on with four screws and a rubber gasket.

Alternately, the crystal spring holder can be removed
leaving enough room to install a modern HC-6 crystal
(desirable for retaining the original look when
restoring old radios).

The style is not marked on the holder, but appears to be a
DC-11 style crystal holder.

0.125 (1/8") inch diameter
0.75 (3/4") inch spacing

Holder (less pins):
1.75 inch tall
1.5625 (1-9/16")inch wide
0.6875 (11/16") inch deep
